Ocean Kave is a coastal venue like no other. Nestled within 60 acres of private coastal grounds in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty our quirky and unique venue offers magical backdrop for your small and intimate wedding.
We understand the importance of making life easy for our couples. In fact, it’s the reason why we are so popular. Ocean Kave’s Small and Intimate Weddings are designed to accommodate the couple and up to 28 guests. With this package, couples will arrive the day before the wedding and enjoy two nights in a luxurious honeymoon cottage, complete with a locally sourced breakfast hamper. The following day you have a choice of a beautiful romantic ceremony inside the Ocean Kave or overlooking the Atlantic Ocean within our private clifftop grounds. This is followed by a delicious three course sit down wedding feast or BBQ in the Rustic Barn before chillaxing or dancing the night away with your loved ones. For couples who can’t decide between a simple elopement and a big wedding, our Small and Intimate Wedding package may be the perfect compromise. With all the magic and atmosphere of a larger gathering and the personal touch of an elopement, our intimate wedding experience offers the best of both worlds.

Dance the night away
After your delicious BBQ or locally sources three course wedding breakfast, chillax with your loved ones and enjoy your first dance together in our beautiful rustic barn. We welcome accoustic performers and have a sound system which can be used for your wedding playlist.

Dogs are welcome
We understand how important it is to include your four-legged friend in the wedding. The Rustic Barn is dog friendly, providing a comfortable open space for your pet to roam around while the humans enjoy an array of artisan gins and locally brewed ales.

Our Small Wedding package is inclusive of the couple and 12 guests. We can welcome a max of 30 for this wedding experience.
Can we have a humanist celebrant at our small wedding?
Ocean Kave is a fully licenced wedding venue so you can chose to have a legal ceremony conducted by the Devon Registrars or a Humanist Celebrant we recommend Nixie from Unique Ceremonies.
