Because of this, we feel we have a responsibility to care for the beautiful landscape bordering our venue. From creating havens for wildlife in the form of natural wildflower meadows to rehoming rescue hens, we feel connected to nature.

From the locally-sourced food lovingly prepared by our chefs to our unique repurposing initiative, we aim to make our weddings as sustainable as possible. Carbon footprint
By choosing Ocean Kave for your intimate wedding celebration, you are already making a greener choice as there won’t be a large group of guests travelling to the venue. Couples can also reduce their carbon footprint by spending their honeymoon at one of our luxurious on-site bridal suites.
Repurposing
Reducing waste and supporting our local community are two of our core values. With our couples’ permission, we like to make the impact of their magical day go even further through repurposing. Flowers can be donated to local nursing homes and leftover food can be given to our beloved goats!
Gifting charity donations
We know that your guests would love to get you a gift to wish you luck and happiness in your future together. However, if, like many of our happy couples you have already set up your home together, you could ask guests to make a donation in your name to your favourite charity instead.
