It is a cave like no other - no need for a headlamp! Ocean Kave is a beautiful, intimate space set high upon the cliffs. Easily accessible from the lawn, there are no steps or steep areas to negotiate - it’s suitable for the highest of heels and the longest of trains.

We are proud to have hosted many memorable ceremonies in the Kave. It is a truly individual space carefully crafted by Devon stonemasons, complete with a chandelier and cosy wood-burning stove. Elegant bi-folding glass doors enable couples to enjoy the enchanting ocean views, even if the weather doesn’t cooperate.

The Kave has uninterrupted views over the rugged coastline and out towards Lundy Island. In the summer, the water glistens as far as the eye can see, while in winter, the wild waves crash onto the rocks below. It is the epitome of romance in every season.

A twinkling chandelier and wood-burning stove complete the romantic ambience. The acoustics inside the Kave are also perfect for live or recorded music.

If you have chosen an outdoor ceremony but the weather isn’t on your side, fear not - we can bring your wedding inside the Kave at short notice. With our floor-to-ceiling bi-folding glass doors, you will still have the drama and romance of the ocean as your backdrop even if the heavens open.
