Real Weddings - June is always a stunning month to get married at Ocean Kave

Starfish, driftwood and diamanté encrusted converses were amongst the many forgettable moments of Heather and Russell’s romantic and unique coastal wedding.

Heather and Russell’s coastal romance

Ocean Kave was the perfect location for their elegant, coastal and very personal wedding in June 2015.  Heather and Russell chose Ocean Kave for many reasons including the fact that we were able to offer a wide range of luxurious self-catering holiday cottages that matched their guests’ requirements.

June is always a stunning month to get married at Ocean Kave, the wild flowers, breath-taking blues of the Atlantic Ocean and perfect British Summertime weather made Ocean Kave the ideal back drop for this very special wedding.

The Sunset Rooms were transformed into an understated yet elegant coastal venue .  The bride made bunting to frame the glass floor to ceiling windows with matching  home made pots brimming full of delightful sweets as favours.

The couples’ florist worked with our Ocean Kave sea lanterns and created a gorgeous centrepiece for each table with bundles of moss and fresh peach roses.

After a very personal and beautiful, ceremony in Ocean Kave headed for the beach for some stunning wedding photos, this was followed by a mouth watering 3 course menu, and hand picked casks of ale to match.

The evening celebrations carried on into the balmy summers evening with a fantastic performance from the V8 band and a welcome appearance of rustic bacon and sausage baps which were enjoyed whilst the sun set over the Atlantic Ocean.

Midland based photographers Jon and Ruth from J Bidemead Photography, did an amazing job capturing the days memories, Heather and Russell exuded love and happiness all day and its so lovely to see in the photos – even the horses appear to be smiling!
