Hay bales, bespoke ales and vintage lace were the order of the day for Vikki and Adam’s September wedding.
Ocean Kave was the perfect location for their rustic vintage countryside theme, complete with lace covered hay bales and vintage lawn games. The Sunset Rooms looked stunning, decorated with hessian and complemented by beautiful, rustic homemade touches, and a retro sweet table.
Adam was resplendent in an aubergine suit, while his ushers and best man wore matching shirts and taupe trousers, completed with dried flower buttonholes and coordinating cravats.
Vikki wore a stunning cream lace, keyhole-backed dress with a pleated skirt. A Single gold leaf adorned the back of the dress, adding the perfect autumnal touch to her vintage elegance. Vikki’s bridesmaids wore pretty, knee length dresses, finished with vintage style shawls. Vikki and her bridesmaids all carried beautiful hand-tied bouquets of dried flowers.
The acoustics of the Ocean Kave were perfect for Adam’s band to play, adding a very personal, romantic and emotional element to the service, which was followed by drinks and canapés on the lawn.
During their planning meetings with Ocean Kave’s wedding planners, Vikki and Adam decided that a hog roast would be perfect for their elegant vintage country wedding. The delicious pork, which was roasted to perfection on a spit by Executive Chef, Darren, was served with new potatoes and a range of side dishes.
The evening celebrations went without a hitch, with individual fish and chip cones served mid-evening.
It was our absolute pleasure to help Vikki and Adam to plan their perfect wedding day and we look forward to the next time they come to stay in one of our luxurious holiday cottages.
