Gemma and Andy fell in love with the Ocean Kave when they attended Gemma’s sister, Holly’s wedding here in 2012. Emphasising the versatility of the location, the couple’s day was very different to Holly’s, with the couple opting for luxurious vintage glamour.
Gemma looked simply beautiful in vintage lace while her older bridesmaids wore pink Grecian style dresses. The smaller bridesmaids looked divine in clouds of net topped with pink rose head garlands.
The couple wanted traditional games in keeping with their theme of vintage opulence and after the ceremony, guests enjoyed a range of activities. With love in the air after witnessing the couple’s nuptials, the kissing booth proved very popular!
Canapés on the lawn featured quintessentially English fare, including smoked salmon and cream cheese with cucumber, creams teas (the Devon way, of course!) and mini pasties.
The couple enjoyed every second of their day and partied into the night to the dulet tones of a traditional steel band, stopping only to have some sunset photographs taken on the beach. Their day radiated happiness and love and we wish them a future filled with laughter.
