Real Weddings - Lisa and Jamie's Perfect Ocean Wedding

April 2015

When Lisa and Jamie first visited the Ocean Kave seven months before their wedding they were both clear that their perfect day would be a relaxed yet elegant family celebration with sunny weather and a good measure of WOW factor.

With family members staying in both the onsite cottages and the 3 exclusive Seahorse Apartments situated on the beachfront in the nearby village of Westward Ho!, the couple commenced wedding celebrations the night before with a fun family meal at the acclaimed Blue and Green Restaurant

Lisa and Jamie put so much thought and effort into planning their wedding celebrations and it definitely paid off, making it a wedding to be remembered. The bride looked absolutely stunning in her vintage lace dress, statement blue shoes and elegant lily bouquet; the bridesmaids complemented her colour scheme in a striking teal dresses, as did the groom and his entourage with their cravats and button holes.

After a beautiful and personal exchange of vows in the Ocean Kave, the guests adjourned to the lawn for canapés and Prosecco whilst the newlyweds were whisked away in the buggy by Ocean Kave team member Gary to have some fantastic coastal shots within the grounds.  The couples were back celebrating with their loved ones within 20 minutes and enjoyed a fantastic wedding reception.

Following the delicious three course menu which was served in the Sunset Rooms, the couple were treated to a moving solo acoustic set by Sam, which so beautiful and very personal.

Hertfordshire based photographer TriggerFish Photography managed to capture some wonderful images of the couple.  Selected for his unique style, TriggerFish takes the time to befriend the people he is working for, get to know what they like and want. He prefers candid shots as he likes to capture people's natural expressions and emotions.

The party continued into the night and all 80 guests enjoyed the delicious wedding cheesecake. It was such a pleasure to work with Mr. and Mrs. Rondel and we wish them all much love and happiness for the future.
