Honeys Bravery Bags
In June 2018 we hosted a fabulous summer ball in aid of this much loved local charity, Grace Brown, founder of Honey's Bravery bags commented " We are so grateful to all our supporters for attending such a successful event. I feel so flattered and honoured by the amazing feedback we have received regarding the quality of the event we have hosted. I couldn't of done it without the Honey's Bravery Bag committee, Nicole Wickett and of course Kathy Murdoch. Kathy has given us so much support and encouragement and on the night itself she was hugely professional and gracious. Ocean Kave is one of the most stunning locations in North Devon and we are so proud to be working with them."

Wings South West http://www.wingscharity.com
Wings is a local children’s charity supporting young people in our community with personal development and training opportunities. In September 2017 we were proud to host their Unity Awards gala night at Ocean, it was a spectacular evening showcasing a lot of local talent with some rather fabulous handmade lollypops by Head Chef Nigel Powell.
“Local Charity Wings South West approached Kathy and the team at Ocean Kave to help put on a special event for local young people and adults who had additional needs and attended the Wings UNITY groups. The dream at Wings was to have a night where parents, carers and support workers would be celebrated and of course the young people and adults themselves. Having met with Kathy ideas started to formulate on how to make the evening a night to remember, which included awards, a little gift to take home and of course the evening’s food and entertainment. At all times the staff at Wings felt supported by Kathy and the team, but also very blessed as the venue was given for the evening free of charge. On the night, Kathy had again exceeded our expectations and gifted each guest a handmade chocolate lollypop. Such generosity helped Wings to put on the event so wished for, on a shoestring budget. The team on the evening from Ocean Kave were equally easy to talk to, supported the Wings team every step of the way and interacted with the guests brilliantly. The table decorations were beautiful large hurricane jars, filled with sand and candles which gave a softness to the venue. Wings showed its corporate colours with soft aqua blue chair ties, again donated to Wings from Ocean Kave. It truly was a night to remember and Wings is looking forward to partnering with Kathy and the team at Ocean Kave again for another bigger, fabulous awards evening!”
