On Thursday 10th August 2017, Ocean Kave was the backdrop for Emma and Amy’s truly unique and utterly fabulous wedding.
When we first met the couple 12 months before, we knew that their wedding was going to be special. It was clear from our first meeting that Amy and Emma had plenty of creative vision and that the key to making this wedding a success was going to be the attention to detail and quirky personal touches.
What was so beautiful about their wedding was the focus on friends and family both past and present, the whole wedding experience was so full of love, laughter and happiness that it will be a wedding the Ocean Kave team will never forget.
The wedding celebrations kicked off with a fabulous family get together at nearby beach front restaurant, The Beach Bar Diner, The couple chose this location because of the incredible beach views and its central location for their guests staying onsite at Westward Living self-catering holiday cottages.
After a fabulous pre-wedding day meeting the day before setting up the venue with their wedding planner, Amy ‘s exceptional styling set the scene for a beautiful bride to be. We had so much fun with ivy, lights, broomsticks and skulls, yet the venue still retained is natural elegance and everything came together to create the most amazing and unforgettable setting for an unforgettable wedding.
Both brides looked sensational in their floor length wedding dresses. They had managed to choose almost identical dresses without knowing. After a very emotional ceremony, friends and family adjourned to the lawns for a welcome reception and photos.
The couple made their grand entrance into he Sunset Rooms for the wedding breakfast and walked in to a confetti gun serenade wearing matching leather jackets. They chose a fantastic photographer Mrs Jutson Photography to capture their day. Assisted with fellow photographer Margo, the pair managed to capture the day to perfection. We are so delighted to have been sent these images to share with you.
Thank you, Amy and Emma, for choosing Ocean Kave as your wedding venue, we wish you both much love and happiness for a very long and happy marriage together x
