Tweed, lace, roses and sunshine epitomise the classic English Country destination wedding. And for classic English rose, Charlotte, her wedding dreams came true. The September sunshine shone brightly, and every element of the day was filled with good, old-fashioned fun.
With the couple coming from Surrey, they decided to make a weekend of their wedding, and arranged for guests to enjoy pre-drinks in the Barn while the bridal party prepared for the big day ahead. Charlotte and her bridesmaids made the most of the experience, donning matching pyjamas while having their hair and make-up done; meanwhile, Adam and his groomsmen, looking very dapper in tweed suits with pink bow ties, greeted guests as they arrived at Ocean Kave.
Charlotte arrived at Ocean Kave looking simply breath taking in a white, lace, strapless gown, accompanied by bridesmaids in exquisite lace dresses in coffee and blush hues. Buttonholes and bouquets in complementary blush and cream roses completed the classic English look. The only thing that compares to Adam’s love for his wife is his love for his beautiful red mini so, happy to accommodate our bride and groom in every way possible, we allowed Adam to park his pride and joy outside the Sunset Rooms.
Following a beautiful ceremony, the happy couple exited the Ocean Kave, whereupon the wedding party was treated to canapes, fizz and the stunning views across the Atlantic Ocean as they enjoyed acoustic music from the talented band. Charlotte and Adam left their guests enjoying themselves as the drinks flowed, and took a few precious moments as husband and wife, with a photoshoot on the beach.
A delectable sit-down wedding breakfast in the beautifully styled Sunset Rooms ensued, followed by speeches; the evening guests arrived just in time to see the beautiful sunset (which, of course, presented another irresistible photo opportunity).
After sunset, everybody took to the dance floor where they partied the night away, stopping only to refresh themselves with a few drinks and sausage and bacon baps mid evening. The day and evening were filled with love, laughter, music and fizz (and beer, and wine, and more fizz…..) a fabulous time was had by all and if the joy on the faces of Adam, Charlotte and their guests are a sign of things to come, then it is safe to say that they have a very happy future together ahead of them.
Every element of the day was classic and beautiful; it was, as always, such a huge privilege to have been chosen by Adam and Charlotte and we wish them a long and happy future together. We hope to see you again very soon!
